BUS302

The characteristics of the people I would want to work at my company, in the culture I am trying to cultivate would be several things. I would like for my employees to be ambitious.

I think if they are driven to succeed, they will accomplish a lot. I would like to create a fun, and adventurous environment; therefore, my employees would need to have those same qualities. Being confident in your work, thoughts and suggestions can change the mindset of others.

It can also bring thoughts and other suggestions to the table. Being a diligent, hard worker is somethingthat create a positive atmosphere and encourage others to work just as hard.

Another characteristic would be to be open-minded. Some thoughts and suggestions of others might be a little abstract. Sometimes other employees may need to look at ideas from all other views. The last characteristics of those I would like to work with me would be organized, punctual and responsible.

The two leadership qualities I would look for in employees would be decision-making capabilities and accountability. A leader should have the ability to make the right decision at the right time; even under pressure. A leader should think long and hard before making decisions, but once the decision is taken, take ownership of it.
