Room No. 1: Infant Room for Age 0-1

Activity: Playing peek-a-boo

The room will be set up for infants ages 0 to 1 where they are expected to learn through demonstrated examples, e.g., grasping, hearing, sucking, and touching.

Theclassroom will be a safe place for babies, and the room will be divided into several areas.These areas will include clean areas for babies to crawl, the color station, areas for changing diapers, soothing music stations, and cribs.

Other areas will consist of the touch and feelcenter, the quite area, and the rocking chairs. Age-appropriate toys will also be selected forthis group, and their class positioned in a secluded area for a more comfortable rest (Life withlittle children, 2014).

Some of the activities for the infants will include playing peek-a-boo, singing age-appropriate songs, as well as reading. Toys that rattle and make noises will also be includedin the list of activities, along with clapping games and touching of different fabrics.

Thechoice of activities will help develop the cognitive and psychological infant development.

Activity: Playing card games
