Cyber security is about assessment of cyber risks and the design implementation of countermeasures. Good cyber security measures start withthe prevention of attacks Cyber Software, Inc. is a medium size manufacturer of cyber protections of software products.
Cyber Software has all kinds of clients but the major clients are local retail business as well as state and municipal governments. The goalas a company is to keep customers and bring new to the company. To keepcustomers, the company must keep the good business or make it better.
CyberSoftware must have a vision to grow in all areas or departments in short andlong terms periods. As any other company, the mission and vision is one of themost important things the company must achieve.
II.Purpose of Project Management Plan
Baltimore City one of company’s medium sized client found that its websitewas hacked and credit card information provided to pay water, sewer, realestate tax, and parking tickets was accessed. It was suspected that the hackingwas part of the recent attacks by Russian cyber thieves.
The purpose of theproject management is to develop the new program to avoid in the future thiskind of issues. The new program will be set up in two different divisions:I.A division to work on new program developmentII.Focus on victim clean up and damage control.
III.Mission and Vision
Due to the issue of Baltimore City, Cyber Software, Inc must work in a newmission and vision statements. The existing vision and mission statements of Cyber Soft, Inc are listed respectively: “
The top Software security company thatstrives to provide the best protection to our customers”and “Help customerssecure information through innovative services”. Cyber Software does not have to get confused in the mission and visionstatements.
Vision provides guidance and inspiration as to what an organizationis focused on achieving in five, ten, or more years. On the other hand we havemission, which defines the present state or purpose of an organization.[ CITATION Joh10 \l 1033 ]
Cyber Software’s new vision and missionstatements would be:“A new Independent Software will be a recognized leader in cyber securityand data analysis solutions by delivering outstanding service and superioroutcomes for our clients”– (Vision)
The new vision statement for Cyber Software is the most appropriatebecause the new program will provide the best solution to any issue a clientmight have. Also, our new program will be delivering outstanding service thatany of the competitors have.
