Nurture played a significant role in the twin’s development because their lives are very much different. According to Sigelman (2018), the environment is directly linked to the external physical and social conditions, stimuli, and events that can affect us, from crowded living quarters and polluted air to social interaction with family members, peers, and teachers, to the neighborhood and broader cultural context we develop. The loving environment Jan grew up in steered her into a successful life. Having positive reinforcements and emotionally supportive parents gave her confidence boost in all aspects of her life. She was able to keep a healthy marriage and raise successful children. Judi grew up in a chaotic environment which lead her to have a chaotic life and kids.

Judi father was an abusive alcoholic. She ended up being in a psychologically abusive relationship, which is the same thing her mom did. Judi also became an alcoholic like her father and used drugs. Her child also did what he saw growing up, but he died from addiction. Judi also had similar psychological problems as her mom. Both Jan and Judi were a product of their environment.Explain why it is important to consider nature and nurturing combination throughout the lifespan when evaluating an individual’s well-being. Nature and Nurture both plan an important role in human’s development because it makes us who we are and who we become. Nature create who we are by hereditary, maturations, genes, and innate. Nurture defines us by the environment, learning, experiences, and cultural influences. All are important factors that makes a person who they are.
