This person may have been raised in a culture where if someone acts in this way it is unacceptable and this could cause them to have a large amount of psychological discomfort. They also may feel concerned about the person if they care about them(Hooley, Butcher & Nock, 2021). Describe the feelings a person may experience when witnessing behavior that deviates from the norm. Sometimes when a person sees an abnormal behavior it can cause fear because it is seen out of the other person’s comfort zone and what they’re used to. Their response is an abiological one that tells them what they’ve observed is not normal and that they should draw back from the situation. Another feels a person might have is anger and depending on the abnormal behavior they see it could cause them to be very upset about the situation. Other people who have more experience with abnormal behavior may become curious about the behavior and want to know more about why the person acts in this way (Hooley, Butcher & Nock, 2021).

Ironically, it is normal to perceive abnormal behavior as atypical, uncomfortable, or strange. However, the labels that we use to describe abnormal behavior could contribute to its stigma. In your own words, describe how abnormalities in the mind are not reallydifferent
from other physical or biological abnormalities. It is very important to make sure labels don’t add to the stigma around abnormal
behaviors, otherwise, people won’t seek out treatment. These abnormal behaviors are sometimes the cause of things that have happened or been learned during childhood, like a physical or biological abnormality, it is out of the person’s hands and beyond their control. These abnormal behaviors are normal to the person, just like a person who is born blind (Hooley, Butcher & Nock, 2021).
