Conclusion and Follow-Up Follow-up The success of implemented recommendations should be measured once the consulting project has concluded with Sullivan Soap Company.The client should determine if the objectives of the plan were met, and if they were not met, then what needs to be done to correct it.According to Gallos (2006), clearly defining expectations, scope, and accountability from the start is helpful in measuring success during and after implementation.The consultant must clearly explain to their client how to measure results and adjust their plans accordingly.According to Hale (2007), measuring is the act of comparing.This step is necessary in ensuring the success of the organization.To measure the success of the organization, then a client should know the criteria needed and understand how to gauge the results (Hale, 2007). These criteria are gauges or yardsticks that are used to weigh, rank, or value what it is the client is comparing(Hale, 2007). The consultant must convey to their client that feedback should be continuous along with the continuous revision of the plan (Greiner et al., 2011). When a consultant’s client understands that goals will be updated and revised frequently, then there will be a “premium on anticipation and innovation, continuous improvements and ongoing change processes” (Greiner et al., 2011). The Sullivan Soap Company must follow up with their leaders consistently, by having meetings and constant conversations once the consultant’s plan has been implemented.The importance of these meetings and these conversations is to re-iterate to their team the high value of the intervention and will keep their team focused on the goals ahead, which should be the success of their organization.
