The Psychological Assessment Report I chose to discuss pertains to Sally, a sixteen-year-old female who resides with her grandmother. Sally was a product of an uncomplicated birth and reportedly met all of her developmental milestones. However, Sally has exhibited poor school performance as well as anger issues and was prescribed stimulant medication for an Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder diagnosis. Some factors that may have led to the issues Sally is having include her parents separating, and eventually divorcing when she was 2 years old, causing her to have to move in with her maternal grandparents. Academic difficulties began to arise when Sally was in the 3rd grade, and have continued until now. The assessment that will be administered will focus on determining both her levels of cognitive development and academic achievement, along with her statuses of executive functioning and social-emotional functioning.
